Users on a BES (BlackBerry Enterprise Server)
From Your Computer
- Run the BlackBerry Desktop Manager: Double-click the BlackBerry icon on the desktop or click on Start → All Programs → BlackBerry → Desktop Manager.
- Go into “Email Settings.”
- Click on the second tab, which will show your auto signature. Edit the signature here.
From the BlackBerry
Go to your messages, and click “Options” → Email Settings.
Edit your signature here.
Users not on a BES
- In Canada, go to the Rogers BlackBerry Internet Service page. Outside Canada, go to the appropriate provider BlackBerry Service page.
- Log on to your account and go to step 4, or create a new account if you don’t have one.
- Enter your Device PIN and Device IMEI. If you don’t know these, go to the BlackBerry applications list → Options → Status. This will show your PIN and IMEI. Enter them.
- If you get a message that says “User name and password don’t exist” call Rogers at 1-866-931-DATA (3282) and ask them to create or reset your account.
- Once signed in, make sure your account is validated. If it’s not, click the small link to validate the account.
- You should get a message saying your account is now valid.
- In the Edit section, click the Edit image (picture of a pencil and paper).
- This will take you to the General Settings screen. From here, you can edit or delete the “Sent from my BlackBerry device on the Rogers Wireless Network” signature.
- Add your own signature, make sure all the rest of the fields are valid, and click Save.
