Close message. When you re-open, hit G and it will take you to the spot where you stopped reading

Control what emails hit the BlackBerry
|
Options > Email settings > Folder redirection. Select the folders or subfolders from which you want to receive mail on your Blackberry. Click ‘Save’.

Follow a thread with multiple responses
|
Open the first e-mail and hit the J key to jump to the next response, and so on. Hit K to go back to an earlier message.

Improve email view on older BlackBerry OS (v4.0.2 to 4.3)
|
Install BBSmart Email Viewer. Features include clickable URLs, embedded images, email templates, the ability to add notes to individual emails and add emails as tasks or appointments.

Manage emails from desktop PC (BES only)
|
On BlackBerry, set Reconcile between Outlook and handheld: Click Messages icon > Options > Email Reconciliation. Change settings to: Delete On - Mailbox and Handheld; Wireless Reconcile – On; On Conflicts - Mailbox Wins

Separate SMSs and emails
|
Select Separate in the SMS and Email Inboxes field under General Options.

Turn BlackBerry off at selected times
|
Go to Options > Auto On/Off and select the times on weekdays and weekends for automatically turning the BlackBerry on and off.

Turn e-mail off temporarily
|
Manage Connections > Mobile Network Options > switch Data Services off. Any email sent to your BlackBerry while it is turned off will be queued up and downloaded when you turn data back on.

Turn off email notification sound and LED flashing
|
Go to Profiles > Advanced. Selecting the active profile (Normal by default), then select Edit from the pop-up menu. Select whatever alerts you want.
