Delete multiple emails from Outlook and the BlackBerry (BES only)
|
Delete on Outlook.
|
|
Delete old emails by date
|
Click a date and press Delete Prior. (BES users: This does not delete the emails on Outlook.)

Delete automatically on the BlackBerry when you delete on Outlook (BES only)
|
Options > Email Reconciliation > Select Purge Deleted Items.
- Do not empty the Deleted Items Folder when prompted as you exit Outlook on your PC unless at least 30 minutes has elapsed to enable automatic reconciliation to take place.
- Automatic reconciliation can take up to 30 minutes but you can force it to reconcile by clicking and choosing the Reconcile Now option from the drop-down menu on the BlackBerry.

Permanently delete emails (BES only)
|
Delete on Outlook. (Emails deleted on a BlackBerry and set to delete on Outlook are moved to Deleted Items, not permanently deleted.)

Delete automatically on Exchange server and Outlook when you delete on the BlackBerry (BES only)
|
Options > Email Reconciliation > select Delete On and click trackwheel > Click Change Option > click Mailbox and Handheld > Esc key > Select Save and click trackwheel. Click Esc to return to emails screen.
Use General Options menu to turn on or off Confirm Delete option.
